Stainless Steel Media

With all of this new hype with Stainless Steel Media, I decided to give it a try.  All I can say is OMG!  This stuff is great.  It does take a lot longer than the traditional tumbling with walnut or corn, but it is so much better.  For one, it cleans the inside of the brass, inside the primer pocket and gives your brass a better than new look.


IMHO is comes out better than using a Ultrasonic Cleaner and is much easier to do.


The only issue with this is the limited capacity.  With the 15# capacity of the tumbler it only leaves room for 2# of brass.  This equates to about 200 223, 100 308, 250-300 handgun brass.

Fiocchi of America, Inc. is recalling several lots of 9mm Luger, 115 grain FMJ ammunition that was imported from Fiocchi Munizioni, Italy.

Through extensive evaluation, Fiocchi Munizioni has determined that the lots listed below may contain defective propellant. The propellant in this ammunition may cause squib loads which could cause firearm damage, and subject the shooter or bystanders to a risk of personal injury when fired.

DO NOT USE FIOCCHI 9mm Luger, 115 grain, FMJ ammunition that has a lot number listed below:

The ammunition Lot number is stamped inside the box tuck flap.

To determine if your ammunition is subject to this notice, review the Lot Number. If the lot number matches any of the lot numbers listed above, return the ammunition to Fiocchi of America via United Parcel Service (UPS) or FED-EX Ground. Securely pack the ammunition into a corrugated cardboard box, write “CARTRIDGES, SMALL ARMS ORM-D” on the outside, and ship to:

Replacement ammunition will be shipped to you. Please include a name, address, phone number, and complete shipping address (we cannot ship to post office boxes).

This notice applies only to Fiocchi 9mm, 115 grain FMJ from this list of lot numbers. Other products or lot numbers are not subject to this recall and should not be returned to Fiocchi.
